Paratech University / Official Hands-On Training

While on the training ground all participants must bring and wear full PPE. Full PPE is a helmet, eye protection, long sleeves, gloves, pants, and boots. Full bunker gear is not mandatory.

Paratech provides equipment, instructors and materials.

• Paratech University start time is 8am. End time is 4pm.
• Paratech Structural Shoring University start time is 8am. End time is 4pm.
• Paratech Trench University start time is 7am. End time is 5pm.

Qualified Third-Party instructors conduct Paratech University training.

Attendees who complete the Paratech University course will receive a Certificate of Participation from the Third-Party instructing company.

Each participant will be responsible for their hotel accommodations, transportation to and from the event, dinner costs and an attendance fee per person.

• Paratech Tool Lab Station Rotations: Learn about the Paratech tools, Vehicle Stabilization using Rescue Struts with car on roof and another station with a car on its side
• Heavy Vehicle Lifting & Stabilization Station: using Rescue Struts & Hydraulic Struts
• Building Shoring Station: using Rakers, Flying Rakers and Woodless Raker Systems
• Rigging Station: using Monopod and Bipod
• Air Bag Heavy Lifting Station: using Maxiforce® and Multiforce Air Lifting Bags
• Final Exercise: Putting it all together using skills learned to move heavy objects

Donuts, Coffee, Water and Lunch are provided on both days of Paratech University. Dinner costs are not included in the attendance fee.

• Severe weather or other major events may impact our operations.
• Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund your fee in the event of a severe weather cancellation.
• In case of a cancellation due to force majeure you will receive a full refund.
• If for some reason a Paratech University cannot be held, Paratech reserves the right to cancel with 2 weeks notice and a full refund will be issued.

• The safety of everyone attending the training is extremely important. In order to protect students and instructors, Paratech reserves the right to ask any student displaying symptoms of sickness to leave the training.
• We ask that you please stay home if you have a fever, cough, are symptomatic or asymptomatic, or have been around anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 14 days.
• Hand sanitizer is available throughout Paratech University and free masks are available at the registration table.

Paratech Universities have limited registration spots available. Maximum 4 attendees per company. If you would like more than 4 attendees from your department to attend the Paratech University, you can add additional personnel to our Wait List. The Wait List becomes available after registration is full. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified via email and have 1 day to secure that opening. If you do not secure the opening within 1 day, the opening will be released to the next person on the Wait List.
